Select the Cricut Maker from the list of machines. Load the mat. Press GO button. Identify the best overlap. Count the line number and select it on the screen. That was my problem. I saved the calibration sheet as a pdf and printed that way making sure "actual size" was selected NOT "fit to page" like it defaulted to. Comparing it to the ones that printed when you printed it from the cricut software it was just off by a little.

You don't have to do or change anything. Just print it. The sensor will find the registration lines regardless and calibrate. Paper format is irrelevant. The only relevant thing is that your printer prints at 100%. No Fit to Page or any other nonsense. That's how I do it and my Print Then Cut is perfectly calibrated.
